Mercan Properties, a company part of the Mercan Group of companies, is a professional services firm involved in all phases of Hospitality Projects cycle.

Currently, Mercan Properties is managing several hospitality projects across all country and expects to significantly increase its portfolio in the next 24 months, including residential construction projects. To date, the company has been involved in 28 projects, which has allowed Mercan Properties to position itself as one of the most relevant companies in the Hospitality Property Development industry in Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focused on developing projects on Hospitality and Premium residential;
• Manage procurement and project marketing and sales, liaising with leasing team, brokers and potential buyers, and with relevant stakeholders to adapt the project as needed;
• Produce regular development and project reports (financial, timeline, quality, risk) to present to the team, Senior management, or other stakeholders;
• Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including co-developers, development partners, and public entities);
• Coordinate and interact with architects, engineers, and consultants to optimize best projects solutions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in a real estate development, investment, or advisory company, with experience in real estate project development acquisition and execution;
• Strong analytical profile and passionate for real estate;
• Good interpersonal skills and fun to work with;
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail and quality output, with a positive attitude and a drive for high standards;
• Experience and knowledge in hospitality and/or residential development including urban planning, prepared to challenge remaining stakeholders (architects, engineers, external consultants, etc);
• Architect, Engineer or Management based background;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
