Asset Manager Coordinator (M/F)
Purpose of the Position:
The Hotel Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the team of maintenance supervisors in various hotels, ensuring that all equipment, systems and infrastructures are in perfect working order. This professional will act as a point of contact between the supervision team and the Hotel operation, ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently, within the deadlines and according to the required quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, lead and supervise the team of maintenance supervisors,
distributed throughout the different regions of the country
- Plan, distribute and monitor the daily tasks of supervisors, ensuring that services are carried out effectively and within the stipulated times
- Develop the maintenance plans of the Hotels, implement and monitor them
- Ensure the coordination of internal teams with the Outsourcing teams
- Monitor the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring that all services are in accordance with safety specifications and standards and legal requirements
- Oversee regular inspections to ensure that maintenance teams are following the correct procedures and maintaining the quality of services
- Organize and coordinate trainings and workshops for technicians, ensuring they are up-to-date with best practices and maintenance procedures
- Maintain constant contact with supervision and other departments, reporting the progress of activities, identifying possible needs for resources or improvements and solving problems that may arise during the execution of the work
- Control all investments and Capex and Opex required for maintenance activities
- Ensure that maintenance teams follow safety, health, and technical regulations, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Monitor the performance of maintenance teams, offering continuous feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Manage communication between your team and the hotels' resident maintenance technicians, ensuring that maintenance needs and requests are met efficiently and effectively
- Assist in the preparation of maintenance reports, recording the activities carried out and highlighting the improvements or problems found
- Assist in the evaluation process of external suppliers, when necessary, for the execution of specialized services
- Manage and ensure the operation of the Infraspeak maintenance management platform
Key Requirements:
- Higher Education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum experience of 5 years in positions of coordination or supervision of maintenance teams
- In-depth knowledge of systems and equipment used in hotels, such as electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, elevators and security systems
- Leadership and team management, with the ability to motivate, guide and develop team members
- Ability to solve problems and make quick and efficient decisions
- Excellent interpersonal communication to deal with technicians and other areas of the company
- Ability to plan and organize activities, giving due priority to everyday issues
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Availability to travel between the different hotels under your responsibility
